Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American model and actress who also serves as a TV hostess as well as a comedian. Panganiban has been dubbed the "new queen of Drama" by many media publications. Her condition became severe and she experienced numerous organ failures, which included the kidneys that did not recover. Her condition forced her to alter her lifestyle around hemodialysis and later on peritoneal dialysate. In the 80 days she was in the Hospital, the life of her was changed for the better. After one year and a half of dialysis Angelica was ready for the most significant operation in her life: a kidney transplant. Angelica would be receiving the donated kidney from her mom. Angelica Hale and her mother underwent a kidney transplantation at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta as well as Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston on September 13, 2013. Angelica Hale, a young girl from Atlanta who has always dreamed of becoming an actress and a singer and is currently working towards that goal.
