Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American model and actress who also serves as a TV hostess as well as a comedian. Panganiban has been dubbed the "new queen of Drama" by many media publications. Her name is also acknowledged as among the Philippines' most experienced and diverse actors. The name angelica roots means that only the roots of the plant are utilized. The live performances she sang the song Clarity by Zedd in the Quarterfinals as well as Without You from David Guetta for her Semifinals performance. Angelica was able to make it to the Finals where she performed Symphony from Clean Bandit. In the results finale, she performed Stronger with Kelly Clarkson with Kechi Ohwuchi. The contestant was among the youngest to ever place 2nd. Angelica Hale suffered from double pneumonia in 2012. She was 4 at when she was diagnosed. The reason for her illness was an aggressive strain of strep bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston placed her on ECMO assistance for lifesaving treatments. Her condition became severe and she experienced numerous organ failures, which included the kidneys that did not recover. Her condition forced her to alter her lifestyle around hemodialysis and later on peritoneal dialysate. In the 80 days she was in the Hospital, the life of her was changed for the better. After one year and a half of dialysis Angelica was ready for the most significant operation in her life: a kidney transplant. Angelica would be receiving the donated kidney from her mom. Angelica Hale and her mother underwent a kidney transplantation at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta as well as Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston on September 13, 2013. Angelica Hale, a young girl from Atlanta who has always dreamed of becoming an actress and a singer and is currently working towards that goal.
