Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Her work has been in the margins of both traditional and popular music since she was a teenager, she is also involved in other styles like Hip-Hop Soul and Trap. Her voice has been called by no less of a talent than Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, and with a bite that is similar to the old ones. Following her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success that topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and finally winning the Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with a variety of artists, including Cory Henry, James Blake and others. The set was released in March 2022 following a performance of the single Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia did her solo performance on the show for the very first time ever on the show. As well as winning three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
